Rotary Park Splash Pad

The weather is getting warmer and it will not be long before the splash pad at Rotary Park opens up. This is a great place for kids to go and also features a nice climbing toy and the area's only disc golf course. Rotary Park always leaves 'em smiling.

The Wok About Grill

Located in downtown Wenatchee, the Wok About Grill is an awesome place to eat. When you go there you can pick from your choise of veggies and meat options, top your self assembled food concoction off with the sauces of your choice, and then watch one of the chefs there cook it up for you on an impressive grill. It is not only great food but a fun experience too!

Rocky Reach Dam

One of the many great places to visit in the Wenatchee area is Rocky Reach Dam. When you go there you will find a great playground toy, fun open grass areas to play on, and some wonderful views of the dam. After the visitor center opens you can go there for a bite to eat, better looks at the dam, and even a walk out on the dam to the museum found there. You cannot go wrong with Rocky Reach Dam.

Located south across the Wenatchee River from Confluence State Park and just north of Walla Walla Park is the Horan Nature Area.  This is a great place for a walk, is awesome for checking out different varieties of birds, and us accessible from the Apple Capital Loop Trail.

There are so many different things to see on the Apple Capital Loop Trail.  Here the trail goes by the Wenatchee Railroad small scale train track.  When the train is running, the kids love it here!
