Located at the mouth of the Wenatchee River, the Horan Nature Area is a great place to walk through.  It really does offer a very different experience depending on the time of year you visit it.

Big Foot Sighted In Wenatchee, Washington

Okay, it isn't really THAT Bigfoot.  This big foot is actually another of the many great sculptures that are located all over Wenatchee.  This one is right along the Apple Capital Loop Trail, just east of the Riverwalk Bridge.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this past October, decorated bras were gathered as part of the Bridge to a Cure project in Wenatchee.  They were then strung together al the way across the Riverwalk Bridge and back.

A Dinosaur in Wenatchee!

This little guy, and his twin brother, hang out everyday at Washington Park on the corner of Miller and Washington.  Little kids enjoy climbing on and riding them as well as playing on the larger climbing toy located nearby.

The Horan Nature Area sits just across the Wenatchee River from Confluence State Park and is located right off the Apple Capital Loop Trail.  A great place to go to get out in nature without leaving town.

Getting Ready For Winter
