Wenatchee has a well developed public transportation system and at the center if it all are the Link buses that drive people all over town and even out into the surrounding area. The Columbia Bus Station is an important part of the system too.
The Apple Capital Loop Trail hugs the Columbia River shoreline on both the Wenatchee and East Wenatchee side of the river. It is an awesome asset the city has. Here it runs between the railroad tracks and a P.U.D. yard just off off Hawley Street in Wenatchee.
The Riverwalk Pedestrian Bridge connects Downtown Wenatchee with Riverfront Park and the Apple Capital Loop Trail. It makes for a nice walk over the railroad tracks.
The Piccadilly Circus is coming to the Town Toyota Center in Wenatchee on Thursday October 20th. They will have two shows, the first one at 4:30pm and the second at 7:30pm. There will be lots there too including animals, acrobats, clowns, and daredevil motorcycle riders. It should be quite the event to see!
Boating on the Columbia River is a lot of fun and one of the best places to access the water in Wenatchee is via the boat launch at Confluence State Park on the northern end of town.
