The Apple Capital Loop Trail in Wenatchee is a fun place to get away from the hustle and bustle of town. Here the trail goes past Confluence State Park on its way north to where it'll cross the Columbia River off in the distance.
One of the best tourist attractions in the Wenatchee area is Rocky Reach Dam. Here you can see two American flags on display there. The first is the conventional kind of flag flapping in the wind and the second is on the grass behind it made of red, white, and blue flowers.
This plaque sits mounted to the Riverwalk Crossing bridge that connects Wenatchee's downtown area with Riverfront Park and the Apple Capital Loop Trail. Some nice views can be had from the bridge and trains can even be watched from there too.

Lincoln Rock State Park is a fun place to go and offers swimming, camping, boating, tennis, basketball, and more. Its also very conveniently located on the Douglas County side of the Columbia River, just a couple miles north of East Wenatchee.
