The Apple Capital Loop Trail is one of the best parts about the Wenatchee area. There is an Art on the Avenues section that contains some awesome sculptures like this one too. What a great feature Wenatchee has!
This cement foundation is all that's left of a small structure that sat along the Columbia River at where Walla Walla Park is now. It sits just beyond the bridge, out on the island.
Wenatchee is filled with great works of art. An example is this very cool sculpture made of metalsculptures and on display down along the Apple Capital Loop Trail along the river.
The city of Wenatchee has a lot of options when it comes to grocery stores. One place that shouldn't be overlooked, and a place that is much more than a grocery store, is URM on the north end of town. Some very cool stuff can be found there.
When the weather gets hot in Wenatchee, one of the best places to go is Walla Walla Park. You can access the loop trail there and there are toys for the kids too. The swimming area is probably the best escape from the heat though.
