Lincoln Rock wastatepatrol Park is located just north of East Wenatchee on the Douglas County side of the Columbia River.  Its a great place for camping, relaxing, and of course... boating.

The old K-Mart building on the north end of Wenatchee has been vacant for years.  Last year Gateway Cinema opened up which took up half the building or so and now Wenatchee's newest retail store Big Lots will take up residence there as well.  Big Lots is set to open on Thursday, August 24th.

Home to some awesome local sporting events, as well as great entertainment too, the Town Toyota Center has been a nice addition to the Wenatchee area.

Walking around Wenatchee is one of the best ways to see everything  you may want to see.  The Riverwalk Bridge was built to make it easier to get from Downtown Wenatchee to the river, park, and of course the Apple Capital Loop Trail.

The irrigation canal that winds through Wenatchee has been a popular walking destination for years.  It can be a fun way to see an interesting side of the town too.

One of the best recent additions to the Wenatchee park scene has been the splash pad at Rotary Park.  The park is located off of Western Avenue.

Rocky Reach Dam is an excellent place to stop when going to or through the Wenatchee area.  In addition to the fish viewing windows, outside toys, large playground, and more that can be found there, there is also a very cool museum located right out in the fam itself.
